One of the best place in India and must visit. This palace is huge and is really beautiful. This is reasonably well maintained. You have option to take a electric vehicle to see outer part of the palace. To see inner part obviously you have no option but to walk. It is really worth visiting this place.
This is asia's largest natural dam and the scenary was truly enchanting. The spot is 1 km from the base. You can either walk or Hire a jeep. There are shuttle jeeps available from the base at INR 130 or you can take a Van at Rs 10/Head..I recommend Jeep if with family. Once you reach the top, the view is awesome..its a huge reservoir and you can walk around the path. The scenary is mermerising; lush green and mountains at the background..There is a small museum and play area on the other side alongwith Speed boating and round boat too..It was a very soothing experience especially since it was cloudy and not very hot at all.
Best for trekking. Very beautiful nature, surrounded by trees, coffee plants, rocks and water. Well maintained place. They have guiders who guides us and also there is a direction board which helps us to go. But in some areas you can notice unpleasant smell. But you can go forward. A few points are very scary and very deep.
While returning they have made steps so that that we can get down safely. Nature is perfectly designed there. In the caves there are some writings on the rock may be that is the history. Overall a wonderful place to visit.
It is an amazing view and the 'heart shaped lake' is the cherry on the cake! All that trekking up the hill is worth it. The local guide who is compulsory with you from the forest check post - is a great initiative to keep the locals earn a livelihood while keeping the tourist destination neat and clean.
